Today I have officially started my Erasmus+ Internship at Merseyside Polonia. Officially, because I had an opportunity to take part in previous events such as “Nie lubię poniedziaów/ I Hate Mondays” during summer. I have chosen Merseyside Polonia because of positive opinions that I have read about this place from the experience from the previous Erasmus students. My expectations from the beginning were to develop my language skills and to see how Polish people who live abroad integrate in other country. The second one was personally important to me. I am sure  I will be moving to a different country in the future so would like to know more about how Merseyside Polonia creates positive relations between the Poles and other communities. Today I know that to those expectations I should add also gaining project management skills. Merseyside Polonia seems to be a big family composed of many volunteers who found here part of their home country. I hope to belong to this family in the end and have one more home in the world.
